Upcoming: Spring Community PotluckPlus Dr. Lye's Birthday!Please join us at Urban Dharma as we celebrate the arrival of Spring to Western North Carolina. Starting at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 27th, the Urban Dharma community will gather to share in an afternoon of food and fun at our temple in West Asheville. We are also using this Spring Potluck to celebrate Dr. Lye’s birthday (which falls on April 26th), so please join us for this very special celebration. Open to all. Buddha's Breath Meditation SeriesOn Thursday, April 4th, locals and Zoom participants gathered for the first session of the series “Buddha’s Breath” to learn about the meditation practice taught by the historical Buddha to his disciples. This series will run throughout the month of April, and continues Thursday, April 11th at 7:30 PM. For more details and to register, click here. Cultivating Vitality: Saturday Amitayus PracticeOn Saturday, April 6th, we held the first of our weekly Amitayus practice sessions for the month. People joined in the temple and on Zoom from South & Central America, as well as from Asia. These Saturdays will culminate in the Amitayus Empowerment that Dr. Lye will give on Saturday, April 27th (register here).
