[UD News] New Temple Hours, Volunteer Efforts


As we attend to all the challenges in meeting our physical needs and that of our family, neighbors, and even strangers, don’t forget to also attend to your inner needs!

Our temple is now open from 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM, seven days a week for that purpose. Come by – pick up the free supplies that you need and sit a few moments in our temple.

On the hour, we will have a brief sounding of the bell and reading of the Buddha’s words of wisdom.


A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Many Volunteers!

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, many gracious volunteers from Urban Dharma and Southern Dharma Retreat Center have stepped up to help do what they can to take care of our communities in the wake of the storm's devastation. From distributing water, delivering supplies, doing door-to-door check-ins, and more, there is much work to be done, and we are grateful for the immense effort so many are continuing to put in during this chaotic and trying time!
